Battle Worlds: Kronos – Demo und Patch rollen aus

Crimson Cow gibt bekannt, dass ab heute eine spielbare Demoversion von Battle Worlds: Kronos zur Verfügung steht, die es dem Spieler erlaubt, einen Blick in das taktische Solo-Gameplay des geistigen Nachfolgers in Battle Isle und Co. zu werfen und die spannenden Momente klassischer Rundenstrategie der alten Schule am eigenen Leib zu erfahren.

KING Art arbeitet weiterhin hoch motiviert an der kontinuierlichen Optimierung von Battle Worlds: Kronos. Heute wurde Version 1.1 des Spiels veröffentlicht, welche unter anderem folgende Verbesserungen beinhaltet:

  • Beschleunigung des Spiels
    • Schnelldurchlauf des gegnerischen Zuges, bei dem die Animationen der Einheiten übersprungen werden.
    • Bei langen Strecken bewegen sich Einheiten schneller.
  • Multiplayer Liga
    • Der Spieler kann sein Können gegen andere Spieler unter Beweis stellen, Punkte sammeln und  Ränge aufsteigen.
  • Optimierungen und Bug-Fixes

  • Mines don’t count as destroyed units anymore
  • Anti-air turrets don’t receive XP anymore
  • KING Art keys can be swapped for Steam keys
  • AI tries to make moves in a more „natural“ order that will reduce the amount of panning required to follow the action
  • Connection problems in multiplayer will now display an error message.
  • Fixed a bug where units driving out of the Fog of War in FastForward mode were not visible.
  • Fixed a bug where multiplayer games could be permanently corrupted on connection loss.
  • Fixed a bug where the UI would mention the flank bonus to be 15% instead of 25%.
  • Fixed various bugs that would cause players to disconnect from or getting stuck in multiplayer matches.
  • Players in multiplayer matches can now play in teams.
  • Added a damage forecast for the attacking unit so you can estimate the amount of counter-attack damage your unit will receive.
  • AI now uses the Hacker properly
  • AI learned to use the stealth / dive ability
  • Fixed a bug that allowed transport units to be loaded into transport units.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed units to be repaired in transport units.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented airborne units to leave the airport when full.
  • Fixed a bug where the menu would remain unresponsive for several seconds after starting the game.
  • Fixed a bug where the game would continue to scroll the view despite the right mouse button not being pressed.
  • Fixed a bug where multiplayer games did no longer show up in the Multiplayer Hub.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the unlimitted shootbacks upgrade to function properly.
  • Fixed a bug that caused noticeable input lag and sound stuttering when issuing a move order to a selected unit.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed players to toggle through enemy units with Tab that should be concealed by the fog of war.
  • Steam achievements are now granted regardless of whether the user is logged in with his KING Art account.
  • The minimum supported screen resolution has been lowered to 1024 x 768.
  • Fixed a number of localization bugs in several languages.
  • Various smaller UI tweaks.
  • Tweaks in several single player maps.
